BECOME A FOSTER FAMILY

Crossroads NOLA is here to connect children in foster care to the families, individuals, and opportunities they need to thrive. We recruit new foster families from local churches, develop them into competent caregivers for kids from hard places through training in TBRI®, and support them through the ups and downs of their journey as foster parents.

MENTAL HEALTH

Equine Reflections takes a team approach with all our equine-assisted therapy, learning, and education programs. In our Horses4Healing Program (psychotherapy), a licensed mental health professional, a certified equine specialist, and one or more of our trained therapy horses comprise the team. In our Horsemanship Empowerment, Saddle Up for Success, and professional development and education programs, the certified equine specialist and the program horses work as a team alongside the client or group.

NAMI St. Tammany is a non-profit organization that fills the need for education, advocacy, support, and resources for both those in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones. With the right services, support and tools, people with mental illness can and do experience recovery.

The Mission of the Youth Service Bureau is to provide Advocacy, Counseling, Education and Intervention for  youth and their families, helping them reach their full potential. Our programs have served St. Tammany and Washington Parishes since 1981.

HOUSING

H20 ministries' Housing Vision is to provide shelter and Christian support to homeless youth who have experienced or aged out of the foster care system.

Covenant House opens its heart and its doors each year to more than 900 youth & children ages 22 and under.

With God’s grace, our dedicated staff provides youth with relentless support, unconditional love, and absolute respect.
